WebSep 14, 2004 · There is actually a faster way to get rid of the ransom by waiting, you have to wait at the town where you commited the crime. The ransom will lower much faster then, although this is quite hard to accomplish. I recommend waiting behind a door in some house and trying to get a guard stuck, it worked for me before.
