How do torque sensors work
WebApr 29, 2024 · A torque sensor uses a strain gauge to measure the force exerted by the pedal-assist feature. It also measures the amount of pressure a rider executes to determine the bike’s electrical power—the power received by the motor increases as a user pedals harder, and vice versa. WebThe two key driver inputs that these steering sensors monitor are the steering wheel angle and the amount of effort applied to the turn. After assessing these input signals, motor electronics algorithmically generate a responsive output, providing intuitively responsive assisted steering.
